GraviGo

Explore the interior of a mysterious spaceship and attempt
to break free in this game designed in Unreal Engine.

Gameplay

In this game, the player is a space warrior with the ability to turn off gravity, captured by an enemy faction on a space station. To escape, they must fight through enemies in a 2D sidescrolling platformer. The player uses a standard WASD movement scheme with an antigravity mechanic, allowing them to float by preserving their velocity. They can also use blaster kickback for propulsion. However, the antigravity has limited battery, so it must be used wisely!

Project Elements

GraviGo was designed in Unity Game Design Engine with player actions and gameplay events programmed in C#. All aspects of gameplay, from level design, interactables, menus, UI, SFX, and more were designed by myself and a small team of developers using free-use licensed artistic assets. The game is published on Itch.io in WebGL format where it can be played in browser, or it can be downloaded on Windows devices.
